Cinnamon is the leading spice in the country in terms of foreign revenue earnings. Today, Sri Lanka continues to be the leading exporter and grower of Ceylon cinnamon or true cinnamon. It generates four-fifths of the world's output and commands more than 70% of the world market en_US
