dc.description.abstract The development of a lower extremity exoskeleton robot has always been an interesting research topic in the field of rehabilitation, in which the human intelligence and machine power is combined together to enhance the power of human being. The exoskeleton robot can assist or rehabilitate the people who are disabled or physically weak. Especially in the Sri Lankan context, there is a necessity to develop exoskeleton robots because of having so many war causalities looking for rehabilitation. This paper describes the design concept and simulation of a 2 degree of freedom lower limb exoskeleton robot.
