dc.description.abstract Shelter is the basic need of a human being after food. for the protection from natural forces. Which is sheltered a space to facilitate basic functions that need for the human being for the survival as civilized human-being. . ... I When the formation of shelter there are a lot of considerations been done according to the context. Because of that it affects the surrounded environment vise-versa. The shelter gives a space t o facilitate some needs and means of a society. So that it's bounded with individual to sodal level, will gives a social and j . physical representa'tion of a context.,-,:5eople and routes of those. The very first dwelling," home " or the shelter, the " cave " have given protection and secure place for man ' s wife and children. while the man was out for food. The spaces of the cave made inter-relationships between family members within it and the interaction with surrounding environment. Later. with the civilization of society the values and the means were added for the formation of home. Such as person aliza tio n, privacy, territoriality ... etc. those bounded with surrounding neighborhood and nature, or the inter relationships. The dwelling: which was been first construction either in skeleton structure which Introduction covered with skin or made walls by one block upon another to make it comfort , provided those above desires of man.
