dc.description.abstract Minimalism is considered as an attitude where with less consumption of elements achieve more ,which iS also capable of opening up numerous owareness for further interpretions and imaginations on the beholder. It is an act of purification Purity of expression or the lessness dominates the path to creation. Minimalism is manifested in almost all the art forms. Architecture, by its verv nature, being one of most influencing forms of art is also sublected to Minlmalism by the Architect who seeks purity of space in buildings. This could nbe in one sence be described as reflecting attitude imopsed in the life styles of people. The very act of purification was heard by the manifestoes of various schools of thoughts from time to time. How ever minimalism thus emerged a new vision of beauty, with out ornament. Although the idea of a minimalism was conceptualized as less is more, which was highly criticized and rejected by the post modernists, it has been re established by the modern days Minimalists as "More with less" (See appendix), Which means 'Achive more, by lesser number of elements as possible rather than simply redusing the elements in oder to achive more. Since the socity is getting complex than ever, the mode of aesthetic sence brought forward by the minimalism suggests its existence as very much applicable ; for only its poetic setiment can bring contemptation to the mind of the people.
