dc.description.abstract Sri Lanka is the number one exporter of Cinnamon in the world. The purpose of this research is to identify the Supply Chain Risk factors in Cinnamon Export industry and find the strategies to mitigate those issues. The unstructured interviews were carried out and a questioner was distributed among those who are involved in the industry to gather data to identify the supply chain structure and to identify the major risk factors in the industry. This research is mainly based on identification of the supply chain risk factors in Cinnamon Export Industry of Sri Lanka. Risk assessment is an important process in any industry. This study used the risk matrix, which is one of the most commonly used risk assessment methods in risk management studies, to assess the risk factors and it is a semi quantitative method. Nineteen potential risks are assessed in this study. These risk factors are categorized under six topics. Finally, the mitigation strategies for major risk factors are discussed in this research. en_US
