dc.description.abstract This dissertation addresses the Influence of religious beliefs on management style of technology managers in large organizations. “People are not born cultured; they become so through education and upbringing”. Similarly they develop and upbringing religious concepts & thoughts. The manager is a member of the society and he also bears such beliefs. When people engaged in employment, they engaged in employment more than eight hours per day and there is a high probability to perform his/her works accordance with their religious beliefs. They might not like to exercise certain work if it does not align with his/her religion. Hence as a nation, it is very important to check existence of Influence of religious beliefs on management style of managers. This research focused to find how managers think about the dependency between management and religious beliefs. The influences of religious beliefs could create psychological conflict within manger’s mind. This also addressed in the research. Some managers may plan to change their management style or some may already been adjusted his/her management practices to align with their religious beliefs, which tested during the research. The quantitative research methodology used to investigate the research questions. The conceptual framework formed. A questionnaire with forty nine Likert scaled questions distributed among technology managers which addressed religious beliefs & management practices. Through this process simple random samples collected from the listed companies. The Hypothesis developed & statistically tested for reliability, validity and analyzed using SPSS. The analysis revealed that there is a significant relationship between religious beliefs and management style. Especially religious learning has a very strong relationship with conduct on subordinates. Further the feeling of psychological conflict & independence between religious beliefs and management practices evident in majority of managers. Ultimately more in-depth analysis could be conducted and identify the best management practices to have in an organization so that the efficiency & effectiveness will increase in organizations. en_US
