dc.description.abstract Fast fashion segment of the apparel industry has shown a rapid growth during past few years. Although there are multiple issues related to sustainability of fast fashion apparel products, its popularity among end customers is increasing drastically. Majority of the retailers have shifted to fast-fashion strategy and demands for apparel products with high variety-low volume and short lead-times. Therefore, an intense pressure is on apparel manufacturers to become more flexible to survive in the fast fashion apparel market. This paper identifies the impact of fast fashion apparel strategy on Sri Lankan ready-made apparel export industry. en_US
